LE CASTILLAN, Alpe d'Huez

Le Castillan offers six room categories. Rooms range from 15m2 single rooms with a double bed and shower to 28m2 rooms for one or two people, featuring a double bed or two single beds, bath and shower, and a sitting area. Some rooms face north with views of the Massif des Grandes Rousses and the village. South-facing rooms feature a balcony with views of the valley and the Oisans massif. Rooms include a private entrance, soundproof walls, a safe deposit box, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Connecting rooms for up to four people are available upon request.

Chez Jules, one of Alpe d'Huez's oldest restaurants since 1955, offers cuisine with a panoramic view of Oisans. The chef prepares traditional dishes using Dauphiné products. Examples include chicken with crayfish, semi-cooked duck foie gras, and Angus beef fillet. A wine list with over 50 references is available. A buffet breakfast features homemade items, such as cakes and fruit salad. The restaurant is open every evening in winter from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and buffet breakfast is available from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
